This year marks the 25th Anniversary since the inception of the LEGO Star Wars theme and part of the celebrations will include a special 25th Anniversary edition of the LEGO Star Wars magazine. Issue 111 will include a Darth Vader minifigure and although there’s nothing special about that, it will be packaged in one of two unique metal tins. One tin will be similar to the tins featured on the LEGO NINJAGO Legacy magazine, with the other being shaped like Vader’s LEGO helmet. The cover price for issue 111 will be £6.99 and it’s due to be published on July 17th. So there is still another issue to come before this one hits the shelves.

Did Immediate Media actually release 2 versions of the tin with this issue? I saw this article (attributed to this site) through Jedi News and have checked all stockists in and around the Glasgow area but all that is available is the rectangular tin with the picture of Darth Vader.

  They did but due to how the wholesaler (Smith’s News) distributes stuff, they will just send masses of the same tins to retailers. So in Leicester all stores got the square tin, which is annoying
