LEGO® Star Wars™ Ideas Book

Publication date: 6th September 2018 ∣ Price: £17.99 ∣ Hardback

***More than 200 games, activities and building ideas***

LEGO® Star Wars™ Ideas Book is the must have book for all LEGO Star Wars fans this autumn. Aimed at children aged 5 plus, the LEGO Star Wars Ideas Book will inspire young builders to use their imagination and bring their own unique LEGO Star Wars ideas to life.

The book includes more than 200 games, activities and building ideas, from projects that take just a few minutes to make to builds that will keep them occupied for hours. The book begins with a double page spread asking different questions to help readers decide what they might like to build. Questions such as How many bricks do you have? and What are you in the mood for? will help children discover what they want to do and how to make the most of the bricks they have.

Broken down into four main sections – Recreate, Expand, Challenge and Use it! — fans can relive their favourite Star Wars moments by building their favourite character, scene, vehicle or prop from the movies. They can expand their own Star Wars collection by inventing their own build or model; they can also challenge their friends and family by having a go at some of the games and activities that feature in the book. There is even a section which shows them how to create builds that would make the perfect gift for a friend or to keep on their bedroom shelf.

From setting up a game of LEGO Star Wars skittles, creating a pencil pot shaped like their favourite Sith or Jedi, building a fleet of tiny TIE fighters, designing Darth Vader’s family tree, and customising a Podracer, fans of LEGO Star Wars will be spoilt for choice when it comes to deciding what to do next – they can also have a go at the ‘radical rebuilds’ which encourages them to look and play with their LEGO Star Wars sets in creative new ways.

LEGO® Star Wars™ Ideas Book is packed full of all new photography of each build, clear break-downs of models and techniques plus visual tips from LEGO fan builders to inspire and encourage children to get creative. There is also advice on how to simplify or adapt ideas if they don’t have the right bricks. The perfect gift for all LEGO fans, this book will provide LEGO Star Wars fun all year round.
