LEGO Star Wars 501st Legion Set Revealed

There has been a rabid and long going campaign by a group of LEGO® fans to get the Danish toy company to create a 501st Battle Pack. I’m not entirely sure why but it seems to have worked in part, as this August a 501st Legion Clone Troopers set will be released. It’s a little bigger than the normal Battle Packs, but still includes four 501st Clone Troopers, two Battle Droids and two 501st vehicles – BARC speeder and AT-RT Walker. The set 285-piece set will be released on August 1st. For those unaware of the 501st Legion, they actually began life outside the movies, as a dedicated gang of costumers. The 501st has since become part of the Star Wars canon as the troopers, who worked directly as Darth Vader’s personal corp of troops. You can check it out below and over on LEGO.com.
