LEGO Sets Go BIG For New Supersized Collection

It’s a well-known fact that LEGO® sets have been getting increasingly bigger in scale. From commanding brick-built wall art to towering recreations of iconic landmarks, no new focus on adult fans has resulted in some huge builds. But they pale in comparison to this newly announced set. The LEGO Supersized Collection will offer the ultimate LEGO build experience and the first set in this new range will be inspired by the Minions. Set 75553: Supersized Tim, will transform one of Gru’s loyal sidekicks into a 102,312 piece set. Standing 2.5 metres tall, this epic new set will create the ultimate LEGO display piece. We’re excited to announce that The LEGO Group is launching a new range of SUPERSIZED LEGO sets. Our biggest builds yet! These commanding display pieces will take weeks to complete and take up more space in your home than is practical but they will be HUGE talking points when guests come round. For the first in this range, we have created a Supersized Tim Minion (nickname: Big Tim). He’s an adorable 2.5 metre tall Supersized Minion made of a staggering 102,213 LEGO pieces.
