LEGO Set Rumours Round-up

In the world of LEGO® news, much of it can only be shown once officially revealed by the LEGO Group or a retail partner. But in recent years many have been turning to the often strange world of Instagram for leaked LEGO images. Although I’m not about to start showing these product images or divulge ‘inside’ knowledge, I am going to start covering rumours a little more. As with all rumours, they remain that until officially revealed by LEGO. But there are far too many flying around at the minute to ignore. So here is a round-up of possible upcoming LEGO releases. Remember these are merely speculative for the moment. Stay tuned to BricksFanz and other recognised LEGO fan media sites for all the latest official LEGO news.

  1. LEGO Roman Colosseum This November could see the release of a new 18+ set inspired by the ancient Roman Italian landmark. The set could be the largest yet with a possible piece count of over 9000 elements.
  2. LEGO Harry Potter Diagon AlleyAnother large-scale LEGO Harry Potter set could be inbound. Similar in size to the Hogwarts Castle from 2018. Unlike that set, it’s expected to be Minifigure-scale and packed with features.
  3. LEGO Star Wars The Child Buildable CharacterThe Mandalorian has already inspired a number of LEGO sets. But it’s most internet-worthy addition to the Star Wars canon is the little green Yoda-like creature, known only as The Child. The buildable version could be similar to the buildable Yoda character released last year.
  4. 2020 Winter Village SetAlthough this year’s Winter Village set may look a little different since the Creator Expert branding has been retired, early rumours suggest the set this year could be themed around an Elf Club House.

All set rumours featured here are purely speculative and do not guarantee any future product releases or any sort of official confirmation by the LEGO Group
