Later this month NASA will be launching Artemis I into orbit. Artemis I is the first in a series of increasingly complex missions that will enable human exploration of the Moon and Mars. But it’s not just humans blasting off on August 29th, two minifigures from LEGO Education SPIKE Prime will also be onboard. The hosts of LEGO Education and NASA’s Build to Launch: A STEAM Exploration Series, have been mission prepped and are all set to take a trip on Artemis I. They won’t be the first LEGO Minifigures to blast off into space, as three very special metal Minifigures, were onboard the NASA Juno Spacecraft in 2011. These latest mini adventurers will be regular Minifigures but kitted out in their special LEGO Education-issued space suits. Learn more about LEGO Education Build To Launch here.
