LEGO Marvel Summer Sets Minifigures

With the second biggest drop of new LEGO® sets almost upon us and a little further away for those in North America, we’ll be treated to new themes, new elements and most excitingly new Minifigures. Some of the most wanted are those featured in the new Marvel subtheme – The Infinity Saga. The new sets dropping on June 1st (August 1st for NA) will revisit events from across multiple Marvel movies and over 10 years of story building. Some of the characters are getting their first-ever Minifigure, whilst others are making appearances in new outfits or with updated elements.

76189: Captain America & Hydra Face-off

This small set harks back to earlier Captain America adventures and features Steve Rodgers in his earlier outfit. He’s joined by a generic Hydra Agent Minifigure.

76190: Iron Monger Mayhem

Another LEGO Marvel first offers a buildable version of the Iron Monger suit but also introduces Obadiah Stane as a Minifigure for the first time. He’s joined by a new version of Pepper Potts and Iron Man returns to his classic look, with his original helmet complete with flip=up faceplate.

76192: Avengers: Endgame Final Battle

The bigger the set, the more Minifigures and the final moments of Endgame’s epic battle certainly has many characters to chose from. The original set inspired by Endgame is vastly different to what we saw on screen. This set is a little closer to what we saw on screen and that also relates to the Minifigures. As well as Iron Ma, Black Panther and Captain America all appearing again in this set, there are new versions of Scarlet Witch, Thor and an Ant-man microfig. Plus an all-new BigFig version of Thanos, complete with a new style head for these style of characters.

76193: The Guardian’s Ship

The Guardians of the Galaxy offer some of the most diverse Minifigure characters, many of them have new versions for this set. All the Minifigures are slightly different to the previous versions, Mantis and Rocket have new print detail. Groot is lighter than before and Thor is based on his ‘dude’ look. The most different of the character is Star-lord and this version looks like the best take on the character yet.

The new LEGO Marvel Infinity Saga sets arrive on June 1st and August 1st in North America. The reason for the different releases is due to US retailers purchasing habits and nothing else. If you can’t wait UK retailer Zavvi does offer global shipping on most LEGO products.
