A new TV spot has been released for The LEGO® Movie 2 which features US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, but more importantly is also reveals the return of a much-loved piece of LEGO history – Fabuland. For those who don’t know what Fabuland is, it was the very first LEGO theme to go beyond the brick with stories, TV shows and many additional products. Without it there would be no NINJAGO and similar themes. Plus many of the elements created for the theme are still in use today. Introduced in the late 70’s, Fabuland also featured a unique gang of figures, who can be seen having a boogie with other characters from The LEGO Movie 2. Fabuland was honored in the first movie but only briefly in name. So the sequel will now feature minifigures, mini-dolls, DUPLO figures and Fabuland figures. The clip also reveals a possible future LEGO Minifigure character, a Fox Suit Girl.
The team has arrived. See them all in #TheLEGOMovie2, in theaters February 8. pic.twitter.com/J49PBL1T2O

I always thought fabukand was a poor seller and very costly to manufacturer hence its demise. Could they be bringing it back?
