After launching only last year, the LEGO® Disney Princess magazine has reached its final regular issue in the UK as the magazine will be closed down early next year. The current issue, released last Wednesday, is the last regular issue, with one final ‘best of’ magazine being released on January 12th. It joins the LEGO Friends magazine which was also closed in the UK, despite still being published elsewhere. It’s not clear if the closure of the Disney Princess magazine is part of the degenderizing of LEGO products. If this is the case it’s possible we could see the LEGO Disney Princess magazine return in the future as a LEGO Disney magazine as there technically isn’t a Disney Princess theme, with relevant LEGO sets carrying the LEGO Disney branding. Plus recently the strapline on the magazine changed from ‘From a Girl’s Imagination to ‘From a Child’s Imagination’.
You can still find the LEGO NINJAGO, LEGO City, LEGO Super Hero Legends, LEGO Explorer, LEGO Giant Series and LEGO Special Edition magazines. They will be joined by the LEGO Minecraft magazine early next year. Before that, you’ll also be able to enjoy a LEGO Technic and LEGO Minecraft special later this year,
