BIONICLE is back, but before you get too excited, its return is via an upcoming LEGO® GWP set. Rumours of a new BIONICLE set have been doing the rounds since before Christmas but the set’s existence has been confirmed today through reviews of the set. One such review can be found on Brickset, where the image featured here was taken. The promotional set features a brick-built version do Tahu and Takua, capturing the spirit of the much-loved theme but not using the original construction system. This isn’t the first time BIONICLE has returned after its initial run, the theme returned in 2015 and it also inspired a minibuild in the 90 Years of Play set. Further details on how you’ll be able to get the BIONICLE GWP set will be available soon, hopefully, you won’t need to remortgage your house or sell a kidney in order to hit the spend requirement.
