LEGO Animal Crossing Theme Announced

Despite the LEGO® Super Mario theme seemingly wrapping things up in 2024, the partnership between Nintendo and the LEGO Group will continue as a brand new LEGO theme is revealed today. It’s time to save up those Bells as 2024 will see the introduction of LEGO Animal Crossing sets. The Animal Crossing series began in 2001, with the first game relating on the GameCube. But the game really exploded in popularity when it hit the Nintendo Switch in 2020. Across the games, various much-loved characters have emerged such as K.K. Slider, Brewster, Isabelle, Blathers and the devious racoon Tom Nook. Now the world of Animal Crossing will be reimagined in a series of LEGO sets. The teaser below offers a look at some of the characters in minifigure form. It’s nice to see the teams in Billund and Kyoto are continuing to work together.
