Latest Black Card VIP Offer Revealed

For those who picked up the LEGO® Star Wars Ultimate Collectors Series Millennium Falcon at the end of last year, they also received a special Black VIP card. This special version of the VIP card promised a number of exclusive offers and deals. Unfortunately for many card holders those promised offers have been a little disappointing. The latest offer has finally been revealed and it’s a free DJ Minifigure with any purchase. Black Card owners will have received a code in an email, that can be entered during the checkout process on shop.LEGO.com between 26/06/2018 to 30/06/2018. So you don’t have long. The same email has also revealed who won the one-of-a-kind golden R2-D2 minifigure.

  1. I don’t believe it is a Black card offer.

All emails regarding the Black ViP card program are entitled –
“LEGO® VIP, your latest VIP Black Card offer is here!”

The email in which the Winner of the Gold R2-D2 and announcement of the “DJ” poly bag offer does not.

It is entitled “Announcing the R2-D2 winner and an exclusive, limited offer!”

The offer information for the DJ Poly bag, does not mention the black card at all, nor does it state it is a “Black card holders only” offer.
Considering here in the UK the DJ poly bag has already been a “Freebie offer” with new TLJ sets at a major supermarket chain, I doubt very much Lego would be stupid enough to try and say this code is a “Black card only event”.

    • Although those who do not own a Black Card could use the code as far as I’m aware, non-Black Cards owners did not receive the original email in which they could enter to win the gold R2-D2 nor the one announcing the winner and containing the code. So technically this is a Black Card offer due to how the code was distributed (plus the gift was shown as a future Black Card offer) not a very exciting offer but a offer nonetheless.
