Introducing LEGO Ideas Red London Telephone Box

Next month will see not one but two new LEGO® Ideas sets released as today the LEGO Group officially reveals the Red London Telephone Box. The set is based on an idea by fellow Leicester resident, John Cramp and features a classic red telephone kiosk, once found on streets across the UK. Nowadays there are few and far between but can still be found dotted around, including in the centre of John’s hometown. To invoke the sense of nostalgia often associated with vintage telephone boxes, the set also features a cobbled street and lamppost. The set also offers the ability to switch the interior to reflect both the older style and the more modern telephone system. The set will be available through Insider Early Access on February 1st and will be available for all from February 4th. I’m genuinely pleased to see John get one of his designs turned into an official LEGO set. Well down, John. Learn more below.
