How The LEGO DnD Adventure Was Crafted

The release of the LEGO® Ideas Dungeons & Dragons set has been met with much excitement from both LEGO fans and DnD players. The same level of excitement is shared by those who worked on the special DnD Red Dragon’s Tale: A LEGO Adventure. This playable DnD quest has been crafted by DnD Game Design Architect Chris Perkins and executive producer, Kyle Brink. They both chat to Todd Kendeck about creating this unique DnD quest inspired by the LEGO set.

The Red Dragon’s Tale quest has been built around the single location of the set, Chris and Kyle discuss how they moulded the story around the set and the tiniest details found around it. Chris also discusses his love of building and collecting LEGO sets. After building the set myself and chatting with the designers behind the set, it’s clear both the LEGO Group and Wizards of the Coast have the greatest admiration for each other’s brand. The LEGO Ideas DnD set is available now and the Red Dragon’s Tale: A LEGO Adventure can be downloaded for free from LEGO Insiders or D&D Beyond. A physical version of the adventure can also be redeemed from the Insiders Reward Centre for 2700 points.
