As we bid farewell to 2020 and look forward to a brand new year, I’ll like to take this time to wish all the lovely readers of BricksFanz a Happy New Year. This past year hasn’t been the best of times for many of us. COVID-19 has changed the world forever and unfortunately, that is set to continue partly into 2021. I’ve lost my job back in October and the only thing to keep me going was my Mum, crazy dog Lola and BricksFanz. It seems LEGO has been a much needed creative escape and distraction for many of us. Kids have been building with their family and using bricks to learn. Adults have been inspired to build, partly thanks to the new adult-focused range of sets released throughout 2020.
So as we look ahead to a new year, just remember things will hopefully get better soon. Until then stay safe, help those around you and there’s always a LEGO set to keep you busy.
Thanks for all your support and interaction this year, it always means a lot, but more so this year. In 2021 I hope to make BricksFanz even better (if only I can find some way to switch the site over with the new host) and maybe I can expand the team here as well.
