The LEGO Group have joined forces with French mobile game developer Gameloft for a new mobile game featuring the LEGO® Minifigures. The game will include a number of iconic Minifigure characters including the Red Classic Spaceman, Captain Red Beard and Hot Dog Suit Guy. Little is known about the game, but Gameloft are behind a number of mobile titles including the recently released Disney game Magic Kingdoms, which this new LEGO game could be similar to. Oddly TT Games have their own mobile studio called TT Odyssey, which is expected to be working on LEGO titles built exclusively for smart devices. So it’s a surprise move to see LEGO work with another studio on an official LEGO title. Expect to see more on this new game in 2019.
