First Details On Universal’s LEGO Movie

LEGO® news can come from the oddest places and a story about Netflix and He-Man is certainly not somewhere you’d expect to get the first details about the upcoming LEGO big-screen offerings from Universal. According to an article from Variety, directing duo, the Nee Brothers are in talks with Universal to “develop a new hybrid live-action animation film around the LEGO franchise”. After ending their partnership with Warner Bros., which created all four of the first LEGO big-screen movies, the LEGO Group signed a deal with Universal to create films based on LEGO franchises. These aren’t expected to be a continuation of Warner’s LEGO universe.
