Staying safe at home? Are you or your little ones looking for something fun to do? Then Minifigs.me have you covered. For the next few weeks, they are running a series of competitions, with a chance to win copies of your own Doodlefigs. Each week there is a different theme to follow, all of which celebrate the amazing people still working to keep us safe, healthy, clean and fed. In isolation? Looking for things to do? Wanting to show your appreciation to key workers? Why not doodle a minifigure! We’re running a competition on a weekly basis, with winners set to receive two copies of their doodlefigure masterpieces.
Each week, there will be a different theme for the minifigure designs, all based around key workers. This week’s theme is healthcare staff. Want to enter? Full details are below. Entries from children, teenagers and adults are all strongly encouraged!
To enter the competition, you will need to do the following:
- Download the template and print it out (or if you’re feeling fancy, you can skip the printing and do your doodling digitally, using software of your choice) You can find the template below or download here.
- On the template, design your minifigure – this week the theme for minifigures is healthcare staff. Be bright and bold! Clear lines and bright colours will print best; pencil crayon can end up looking a little washed out. Felt tips and crayons work much better! And remember, you must do the design on the template provided, otherwise we may not be able to print it.
- Once the designs are complete, take a photo of the masterpiece and upload the image to this thread. Try to take the photo in good lighting with a flat camera angle (i.e. avoid too much wonkiness!)
- When you upload the photo, make sure to also comment with the age category you are in. The categories are: 7 and under, 11 and under, 17 and under and 18+
Next Friday Afternoon (April 3rd), we will choose a winner from each age category. These will be the images with the most likes and reacts on the thread
The winners will receive two copies of their minifigure. This works out great if your minifigure design has been inspired by an inspirational key worker that you know – then you can keep one minifigure and give the other one as a gift to the inspiring key worker!
