As the countdown to LEGO® Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga continues it’s time to take a brief look at the third LEGO Star Wars title to come from TT Games. It’s widely known that LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game, kicked off the modern-day era of LEGO Games as well as creating a much-loved genre of games. Two years after the first LEGO Star Wars game, Traveller’s Tales bundled the prequel trilogy adventures with the Original Trilogy to create LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga. As well as featuring all the levels from the first two games, tweaks were applied to gameplay adding features from The Original Trilogy to the levels of the first game. Additional levels were added to the game including Anakin’s Flight and Bounty Hunter Pursuit. They were originally intended to appear in the first game.
The game featured over 120 characters including Indiana Jones, which was an early indicator of where TT Games LEGO titles were going next. Before the announcement of The Skywalker Saga, The Complete Saga was not only the most complete LEGO Star Wars game but also one of the most complete Star Wars games ever.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be released on April 5th and is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series consoles, Nintendo Switch and PC.
