The official LEGO™ Twitter account has just a rather mysterious tweet, which seems to suggest a Bond-inspired set could be in the works. The tweet, which was partly aimed toward car maker Aston Martin, who have provided many of 007’s vehicles over the years. The most famous of which is the DB5, appearing in numerous Bond outings. There were rumours of the Bond 007 IP coming to LEGO Dimensions, before it was retired. It seems unlikely this could result in a playset, so could this cheeky tweet mean a Aston Martin DB5 is coming as part of the LEGO Creator Expert vehicles line? It’s about time another vehicle was added to the range after last years London Bus.
Update: Both the Aston Martin and official James Bond 007 Twitter accounts have responded. With ‘M’ clearing The LEGO Group to use a Licence to Build
We’ve been thinking about creating a special Secret (Service) model that could help an agent out in a tricky situation. Any ideas? @astonmartin #LicenceToBuild
