To celebrate Batman Day, the social media channels for The LEGO® Movie 2 have posted a new image of LEGO Batman. As the trailer suggests, Bricksburg has become a lawless wasteland following the attack by DUPLO invaders at the end of The LEGO Movie. The apocalyptic version of Bricksburg has changed the characters, all of whom now sport Mad Max-esque outfits, that includes LEGO Batman. He is now kitted out in a dusty, patched up Batsuit, along with tire-clad shoulder pads and a tatty cape. We will now doubt see this cool looking version of LEGO Batman in some form, in one of the upcoming sets based on The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, which arrives in cinemas February 2019.
