BrickLink Designer Program Series 2 Begins

It was announced back in December that the BrickLink Designer Program would return as a regular program for fans to take part in. If you’re unsure what the BrickLink Designer Program is similar to LEGO® Ideas, where fans can submit their LEGO creations with a chance of being offered to other LEGO fans to support and purchase. This time around original designs can be submitted in place of those previously submitted to LEGO Ideas. Designs can be submitted now and throughout February. Then people can then vote for their favourites and then the BrickLink Team create a shortlist of sets. Recently the five sets which form part of Series 1 were revealed and now fans can submit their original designs for Series 2. Once the submission period has ended, fans can vote for their favourites, which will then see five more sets make up Series 2. All sets that receive over 3,000 pre-orders will be produced. Up to 20,000 of each set will be manufactured during a limited, one-time production run. They should then start shipping in 2024 or earlier 2025. You can learn more and submit entries here. If you want a little inspiration as to what’s possible, here’s a look at the boxes for the Round 3 sets.
