Arthur Parsons Leaves TT Games

The face of LEGO® Games and Head of Design at TT Games Arthur Parsons has left the developer after 22 years. Arthur has played a key role in a number of LEGO titles including LEGO Harry Potter, LEGO Marvel, LEGO Batman and many more. I remember meeting and having a great chat with him at a BRICKLIVE event a number of years ago and many gamers will also know him from various panels hosted at Comic-Cons and other gaming events.

TT Games have been having a tricky time over the last few years. LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga has been delayed a number of times and we haven’t seen a TT Games developed title since 2019. There’s definitely something going down at TT Games and parent company WB Games. The Head of PR at WB Games has recently departed his role and last year, former Sony executive Michael Denny became head of studio at TT Games. At the time he said he was “excited by the opportunity to help create a new vision for TT and lead the studio forward to another successful phase of its evolution.” which could mean TT Games are moving away from solely creating LEGO Games. It was also mentioned in the recent LEGO Bits N’ Bricks podcast series that the LEGO Group were working with developers beyond their traditional partners.
