It’s been announced that a new LEGO® store is set to open in Manchester’s Trafford Centre, right next door to another LEGO store at Manchester’s LEGOLAND Discovery Centre. The new store will have all the usual features of a LEGO store including a Pick & Build wall, Build a Minifigure Station and unique LEGO builds. Currently, there’s a LEGO® Store right next door to the Trafford Centre as part of the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Attraction. There’s also a LEGO store in Arndale Shopping Centre. So why a third store is needed when there are still many areas of the UK, nowhere near a LEGO store is anyone’s guess. For example, the East Midlands doesn’t have a single store, the nearest being around an hour away in Birmingham or Milton Keynes. This is a large area with a number of big shopping centres and parks. There are similar situations in other parts of the UK. Rant over, the third Manchester LEGO store will be the UK’s 19th store and is set to open before Christmas.
