Japan Gets Super Ultra Huge LEGO City Set

Japan is a great place, full of amazing sights and intermittent Godzilla attacks. But it’s not just giant monsters with can be found in the land of the raising sun. A giant LEGO® City set recently popped up in the Futako Tamagawa Rise Galleria Event Space in Tokyo. This huge version of LEGO City set 60174: Mountain Police Headquarters, is a fun way to show off some of the new LEGO City sets. The display area is contained within a oversized LEGO box, with the lid slightly a jar. Inside were large-scale dioramas, featuring LEGO City sets and displays. It’s an amazing sight just from the images, which you can check out below. The awesomely translated – ‘Super Ultra Huge LEGO City’ Tour will also be stopping off in the areas listed below.

  • Fukuoka Prefecture: July 21st and July 22nd Hakata Station square
  • Miyagi Prefecture: August 4th – August 6th Dream Messages Miyagi
  • Osaka Prefecture: September 29th and 30th LaLaport EXPO CITY
