The LEGO Group has launched its annual #BuildToGive initiative. This year LEGO® #BuildToGive encourages children and families globally to build a LEGO heart to give a LEGO set to a child in need. Once built, share on social media or the LEGO Play app using the hashtag #BuildToGive before the end of December. The initiative will give 1.5 million children worldwide in hospitals, children’s homes or vulnerable communities the chance to play this holiday season. In the UK, #BuildToGive supports the amazing work of Fairy Bricks. To learn more and get LEGO heart build ideas, visit: LEGO.com/BuildToGive.
Build a Heart for Children in Need of Play
The LEGO Group’s annual Build to Give initiative kicks off on November 11th, which encourages everyone to help share the superpower of play with children who need it most by building a heart out of LEGO bricks and sharing it with the hashtag #BuildToGive.
For every heart built in LEGO Stores around the world or shared on social media or on LEGO Play app using #BuildToGive before December 31, the LEGO Group will donate a LEGO set to a child in need of play*. This holiday season, the initiative will gift the superpower of play to children in hospitals, children’s homes and vulnerable communities. The sets are distributed through the LEGO Group’s network of local charity partners worldwide, and the campaign has reached more than 9.1 million children since 2017. Select LEGO Stores around the world will be hosting the annual Build to Give activity throughout November. Check LEGO.com/stores for information on local store Build to Give dates.
