The LEGO Group has many amazingly creative people working for it and they come from all aspects of life. But there are a handful of LEGO® Designers who started out as AFOLs. Their passion for the brick has helped them to get a job at LEGO and create some of the many great sets we get to build. Next year a trio of LEGO Designers, who started as AFOLs, will be taking part in an event at LEGO House in Billund. The special evening will unite Mark John Stafford, Justin Ramsden and Marcos Bessa as they discuss their journey from AFOL to working for LEGO. It will be an intersting night for those who have always wondered if their own build skills could bag them a role working for LEGO. The event takes place on March 13th, Learn more here.
My way from AFOL to LEGO designer
Every year the LEGO Group hires in skilled LEGO builders with a great passion for the brand and many of them have a history of longtime membership in the AFOL community. This evening you’ll meet 3 LEGO designers (Mark John Stafford, Justin Ramsden and Marcos Bessa) who will talk about their way into the LEGO Group. And how they have managed to turn their passion into their day job.
The evening will be hosted by the Norwegian journalist and AFOL Are Heiseldal, who has facilitated several Brick talks before.
The Fan evening will be held in LEGO House on March 13, 2020.
Capacity: 60 seats
Language: English
Duration: 4 hours (16.00-20.00)

Alright if you happen to live locally or be in Billund at that time.
I wonder whether Lego have ever thought about live steaming these events?
