World Record Breaking LEGO Tower Built In Billund

As part of LEGOLAND® Billund’s 50th anniversary celebrations, the park decided to have a crack at breaking the record for tallest LEGO® Tower built. Visitors to the park could get involved by creating sections of the tower, which was constructed at the very first LEGOLAND park. In the end, the huge structure measured an impressive 36.26 metres tall. The previous record was created in Tel Aviv last December, and measured 35.95 metres. The latest LEGOLAND Billund tower contains over half a million LEGO bricks and as you can see from the images and video below, featured fun details like the parks name and Danish flag. This isn’t the first time LEGOLAND Billund has held the record. The park created the tallest LEGO tower back in 2003.
