The Summer wave of LEGO® Super Mario sets will be split between regular expansion sets and more Mario Kart-themed builds. The new sets will also introduce two fan favourite Nintendo characters in the form of Wario and Captain Toad. Wario is brick-built but matches the style of the interactive figures. Speaking of which, there will be a Mario Kart ‘Starter Set’ featuring the interactive LEGO Mario figure and a brick-built kart. The regular sets have a Toad theme to them, with one featuring the adventuring Captain Toad. There’s also a Super Mario Bros. Wonder-themed build featuring the Flower Kingdom’s Prince Florian. The new LEGO Super Mario and Mario Kart sets will be available from August 1st.
