The Entertainers LEGO Exodus Deepens

Earlier this year, I reported on the news that Tesco stores, which have had their toy departments converted into The Entertainer-branded sections, were no longer stocking LEGO® products. Well, the exodus of LEGO products isn’t exclusive to Tesco. Numerous shoppers are finding that their local Entertainer stores are also missing LEGO products. A quick check online also shows a minimal offering, hardly any recent sets and none of the upcoming releases. I also found it odd that The Entertainer’s Top Toys for Christmas 2024 lacked any LEGO sets, despite them featuring on every other Top Toy list.

It would appear the LEGO Group and The Entertainer have most certainly had a falling out. The UK retailer has always been an oddity, with its owners’ religious beliefs dictating which products they sell and when their stores are open. Thankfully, LEGO products are readily available elsewhere, with both Sainsbury’s and Asda having branded LEGO sections and toy retailer Smyths continuing to have a close relationship with the Billund-based toy maker.
