The buildable range of LEGO flowers and plants has had an interesting journey since its introduction in 2021. The sets began as a subtheme of the LEGO Icons range known as The Botanical Collection. It has since become a standalone theme called Botanicals, and next year will see another change as the previous 18+ sets will introduce new sets aimed at a lower age range. But that’s not the only change coming in 2026; some of the previously released LEGO flowers will be repackaged as Botanicals sets. Sets 40460: Roses, 40524: Sunflowers and 40725: Cherry Blossoms will switch from ‘Iconic’ style boxes to Botanicals-branded ones. This has previously happened with the Daffodils set, but unlike that set, the new ones will retain their original set numbers.
