Octan has been meeting global fuel needs since 1992, but recent events have caused the long-running business to cease trading in the petroleum market. The very first Octan Service Station opened in 1992 in Denmark, then quickly expanded worldwide. Since Octan was founded, it has been offering a selection of services, mostly focused on providing fuel for vehicles. With the company’s expansion, Octan soon began to offer additional services, including fuel for larger vehicles, rail operations, airport fuel and even powering starships. Unfortunately, the current global climate has seen fuel prices skyrocket, and the increased price of petrol has hit Octan hard.
Ivor Pümpagassen, spokesperson for Octan Energy, said: “Octan has been at the forefront of energy needs for over 30 years, and as a company, we’ve been moving away from fossil fuels, but the current global fuel situation has accelerated our exit from the market. The recent introduction of SMART technology has seen a rise in hot air, which we plan to harness to provide alternative energy needs.” Octan is expected to continue to produce music, TV shows, surveillance systems, history books, voting machines, dairy products, and coffee.
