A long-lost piece of LEGO® NINJAGO lore is being revived by Skybound and AMEET Publishing. The Dark Island Trilogy was originally published as three volumes in 2016. Now those stories have been compiled into an all-new graphic novel. The original material by writer Greg Farshtey and artist Paul Lee will be complemented by a new cover by Tri Vuong. The NINJAGO Dark Island Trilogy takes place on the sister island to NINJAGO and occurs after the events of Season 6 of the NINJAGO animated series. The graphic novel’s cover has been finalised, and it will be published in early June. It’s just one of many ways the LEGO Group will be celebrating the beloved theme’s 15th anniversary.
