With the launch of the first LEGO® SMART Play sets days away, the system’s companion app has been released. The app is not used to play with the new sets or to make any of the SMART Play work; it’s merely an assist app to help keep the SMART brick updated to date, and offering access to sound, haptics and other functions. The SMART Play sets launch on March 1st, and the LEGO SMART Play Assist app can be downloaded for free from Google Play and the App Store.

LEGO SMART Assist App is the companion app for adults to manage and maximise the potential of LEGO SMART Bricks. It helps you control SMART Brick settings, update new play features, and get quick help when you need it. An app for grown-ups to get the most out of the SMART Play ™ experience, so kids can keep building and exploring.

- Play rules! Your SMART Bricks will only connect to the app when they are on the charger – so playtime stays interruption-free!

Privacy and Settings
- For Grown-ups: The app is designed for grown-ups to get the most out of the SMART Play experience, so that kids can keep on playing. Underage users attempting access will be advised that an adult is needed
- Data Consent: Manage your consent for data collection for both app analytics and brick telemetry data. Our Data Privacy Officer can be contacted if you want to retrieve or erase what has been collected.
App Preferences: Configure app settings, including sound, haptics and notification toggles.
