LEGO Masters Heads To Japan

After debuting on UK screens in 2017, the LEGO® Masters format has been distributed around the world. The latest country to join the LEGO Masters line-up is Japan. Broadcaster Tokyo Broadcasting System will handle adaptation in Japan, where pairs of builders battle to become LEGO Masters. They are joined by judges who help set challenges and mark the builder’s LEGO constructing skills. They often include members of the LEGO Design Team, with the UK version featuring LEGO Design VP, Matthew Ashton. With the upcoming Japanese series of LEGO Masters, the format has reached almost 20 countries with multiple series. Yet, the UK version which started it all is no longer airing, with the last time a full series aired was on Channel 4 in 2018, with a one-off Christmas special airing last year.
