Next month, will see DK Books release another LEGO® Marvel-focused title, which will also include another exclusive LEGO minifigure. LEGO Marvel: Secrets of the Avengers offers a visual journey through the MCU, with key moments and characters showcased through LEGO sets. But the main appeal of the upcoming book is that exclusive minifigure. Here’s a look at what the book has to offer, along with a detailed look at its unique minifigure.

Similar to the upcoming LEGO Batman: Adventures in Gotham book, the content is simplified in comparison to other LEGO titles, such as Visual Dictionaries and Character Encyclopedias. It uses a lot of stock imagery and only brief snippets of information about the various Marvel characters and vehicles. It’s certainly better suited for younger LEGO and Marvel fans. But the book’s appeal is vastly broadened by the inclusion of an exclusive minifigure.
The book features the first-ever T’Chaka Black Panther minifigure. Before T’Challa took the mantle of the Black Panther, his father and king of Wakanda, harnessed the power of the Heart-shaped Herb. T’Chaka’s Black Panther is briefly shown during a flashback scene in the first Black Panther film. It’s that appearance that this minifigure is based on. It’s similar to other minifigure versions of Black Panther, using the same ‘horned halo’ piece on the head to replicate the Black Panther suit’s ears. T’Chaka’s suit was a little more colourful thanks to the inclusion of Wakandan robes. Unfortunately, the tradition of forgoing print detail on the legs is present here. Which is a shame, as those fancy robes extend beyond the waist.
