E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial has returned, this time as a buildable figure from LEGO® Ideas. The lovable alien includes a potted plant accessory and a light brick-powered glowing heart. The set is based on the fan-designed E.T. THE EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL project by Lafabrick and was chosen to become a set in late last year. It’s not the first time Spielberg’s 1982 classic has inspired a LEGO set; E.T. was featured in a LEGO Dimensions Fun Pack. The set is the latest to be inspired by a beloved film. The LEGO Ideas: E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial set will be available on August 1st.
