LEGO Icons has revealed its latest aviation-themed model today, inspired by the classic days of air travel. The Douglas DC-3 PAN AM Airliner captures the golden age of air travel. The 1903-piece set features a buildable version of the Boeing aircraft that helped shape model-day travel. The set also includes four minifigures dressed in classic uniforms and a PAN AM logo stand. The LEGO Icons Douglas DC-3 PAN AM Airliner will take to the skies on April 4th, with Insiders getting early boarding on April 1st.

This collectible model invites builders to journey back into the golden age of air travel, recreating the legendary 1930s twin-engine aircraft that helped shape commercial aviation. With 1,903 pieces, the set captures the DC-3’s unmistakable silhouette and includes an authentically detailed cockpit and passenger cabin, complete with aisle and seating. A standout functional feature is the retractable landing gear, operated via a simple dial.
Adding to its display-worthy appeal, the model includes four exclusive minifigures: a pilot, purser, stewardess and flight attendant, all wearing historically inspired PAN AM uniforms. This aircraft had an illustrious career during WW2 and played a massive role during the D-Day landings. Later it played a pivotal role during the Berlin Blockade where it delivered thousands of tons of food to starving Germans in Russian controlled Berlin.
