Last year the LEGO Group brought a brand new product concept to market via the crowd-sourcing platform Indiegogo. For those in the UK who backed the LEGO® FORMA project, you’ll be pleased to know the sets are being packed and readied for shipping right now, with many expected to received their FORMA sets and skins around January 16th. There has been a slight delay on orders for US backers, due to the skins being produced in Europe and then sent to the US. The LEGO FORMA team have expressed the apologies for the slight delay, but the skins are winging their way to America right now and US backers can expect to get their sets at the start of February. I keep getting enquiries from readers about how to get a LEGO FORMA set, and unfortunately the only way to guarantee a set was by backing it on Indiegogo last year. There are currently no plans to bring the product to traditional retail channels. Although this could change in the future. However the sets backers will be receiving are limited edition versions exclusive to Indiegogo.
