Late last year, LEGO® Books revealed the existence of two new books inspired by the LEGO Botanicals range. The ‘Tiny’ Botanicals books feature mini Botanicals sets, including a tiny wildflower bouquet and a tiny desert garden filled with succulents. I’ve managed to track down the books/sets earlier, so here’s a closer look at what both have to offer.
Each Botanicals pack features a small 32-page booklet and a box of loose elements needed to build the tiny LEGO Botanicals builds. The booklets offer a little detail on each of the plants and flowers that are part of the buildable aspect of the packs. They are also used to deliver the instructions for both builds.
Unlike most other LEGO books, the physical LEGO elements are found loose in a box. Oddly, I had an extra 1×6 white brick in the Tiny Desert Garden book, but apart from that, there are no extra pieces like other sets often have.

The Tiny Wildflower Bouquet set includes a small black pot and a selection of buildable flowers. It’s similar in concept to the far larger bouquet-focused Botanicals sets, but on a much smaller scale. The pot is created from four window frames with a black window panel used for its base and two minifigure display plates. The flowers featured in the tiny display include a Gerbera Daisy, a Sunflower, a spig of Larkspur and Lavender, some Cornflowers and Cow Parley, along with Welsh Poppies and Lupin. Together, they create a colourful little LEGO display.

The Tiny Desert Garden is similar to the Botanicals Succulents set, again on a much smaller scale. The plants found in this set are built within a rectangular white tray. Some interesting elements are used to craft each of the plants, but they aren’t as colourful as the Wildflower Bouquet set. Succulents found in the build include a Purple Pearl, a ‘Lime N’ Chile’, a Barrel Cactus, Lunky Clover and a Snake plant, plus String of Pearls and Hearts. Nestled within the Succulents is a ladybird, which is a 1×1 round tile and a small green frog. It’s not a eye-catching as the Wildflowers, but it’s still a fun little set
The LEGO Botanicals Tiny Wildflower Bouquet and LEGO Botanicals Tiny Desert Garden books will be published on May 8th in the UK/Europe and on June 8th in North America.
