Five years ago, it was announced that Universal had picked up the film rights to LEGO® feature films. Late last year, it was revealed that Universal’s take on LEGO movies will be live-action. The films are being worked on by Jake Kasdan, Patty Jenkins and Joe Cornish. It’s now rumoured that Keanu Reeves could star in a new LEGO big screen outing, which would be helmed by Toy Story 4 director Josh Cooley. The pair worked together on the aforementioned film, in which Keanu Reeves voiced stuntman Duke Caboom. As reported by Deadline, it’s unclear whether Keanu would voice an animated character or star in the film’s live-action elements. Universal needs to get a project underway before they lose the rights.
