For a number of weeks now Aston Martin, James Bond and the LEGO Group have all been teasing a 007 themed LEGO® set. Rumoured have been rife about exactly what the set will be, and although the exact nature of the set is still to be fully revealed, it’s now been confirmed as a LEGO Creator Expert set. With the general consensus being that it will be an Aston Martin DB5. This will be in the scale and same style as the VW Beetle, London Bus, VW Camper Van and Ferrari F40. The DB5 has a long-standing history with the Bond franchise, being 007’s vehicle of choice in a number of outings. The set itself is expected to be revealed in the next few days, with a Top Secret launch event taking place at the LEGO Store London in Leicester Square on July 18th.
