A long time away, before the dark times, Lucasfilm revealed plans for the future of Star Wars. This will focus on the previously unvisited era of Star Wars history – the High Republic. A time of ultimate peace in the galaxy, when the Jedi protected all and the Sith were a thing of legend. The High Republic will kick off with a number of books and comics, but it will most likely lead towards other content such as movies, video games and Disney+ series. Which could also lead to new LEGO® sets. Although there have been over 20 years of Star Wars content to base LEGO products on, they are often quite samey. In recent years LEGO Star Wars haven’t really been overly concerned with the Jedi, which makes the possibility of sets based on the High Republic rather exciting, as the Jedi are the main focus. Starwars.com recently revealed concept art for a number of Jedi characters, who would make for some quite cool Minifigures. Character revealed include Avar Kriss, Loden Greatstorm, Keeve Trennis, Stellan Gios and Vernestra “Vern” Rwoh. Check them out below.
