Following the 1980s-themed challenge, the latest challenge channels the 90s. This will see two fan-created projects become future sets. The first part of the challenge ended yesterday and focused on builds featuring between 1000-5000 pieces. Now it’s the turn of smaller builds of between 200-1000 pieces. As with the first part of the challenge, builds must be inspired by IPs big in the 90s and you can check if your project is useable by using the LEGO Ideas IP checker. Once project intake ends, it will be up to fans to decide which one could become a future set. Learn more here.
The Next Chapter (200-1000 Pieces)
In collaboration with Target, this challenge is for builders who want to celebrate nostalgia in a creative and fun way. With a maximum of 1000 pieces, it’s all about capturing the essence of a moment or scene from an iconic 90s movie or TV series. Whether it’s a nod to a beloved 90s character, a tribute to a famous scene, or a recreation of a memorable set or prop, let your creativity shine and show us how mighty your LEGO build can be! Going live on the 7th of January!
