This time next week it will be Christmas Day, dinner will have been downed, presents opened and sleepiness will be descending upon the house but until then the countdown continues with a look behind door number 18 of the LEGO® Advent Calendars. This year we are treated to five different LEGO Advent Calendars, each one filled with a selection of minibuilds and Minifigures. Each day I’ll be sharing the goodies behind each door as we build up to the countdown to Christmas. I’ll be leaving it until late each day so the surprise isn’t ruined. So let’s see what’s behind door number 18 of the LEGO City, LEGO Friends, LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Harry Potter and the new LEGO Marvel Avengers Advent Calendars.
- LEGO Star Wars – Today we are joined by the Interrogation Droid used to extract information from The Child. Despite the very simple build and minimal use of parts you can clearly tell what it’s meant to represent
- LEGO Harry Potter – Ron arrives ready for his trip to Hogwarts. This version is unique and also includes another random Wizard Card tile
- LEGO Marvel – Nick Fury is back from his space vacation for a little festive fun. He’s kitted out in a S.H.E.I.L.D. outfit, although a S.W.O.R.D. one would have been better. He’s also wearing a beanie hat, which is unusual for Fury
- LEGO City – The brick-built toys are here with a small shipping tanker and a wood-working table, complete with a duck toy
- LEGO Friends – Across the various days of the calendar, the micro-dolls have included a small stocking. Now there’s somewhere to hang them with a fireplace. This is one of the biggest builds found in the Friends calendar so far
