Rumours of new LEGO® sets and themes are vast and plentiful, with many being true. But this latest one is backed up by a possible tease, which could point towards the arrival of a new theme inspired by Bluey. If you are unaware of Bluey, it’s an Australian animated show co-produced by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, the BBC Studios and Disney. Since its debut in 2018 is taken the world by storm. It follows the adventures of Bluey, Bingo, Chilli and Bandit, a family of Heeler dogs. A recent Christmas-themed post on social media wishes fans, a Christmas Tree ‘full of surprises’. Under the tree is what appears to be a LEGO ‘Long Dog’ model, a recurring Easter Egg in the TV show. This could be a possible tease of a partnership with the LEGO Group. Disney recently announced a Bluey feature film and that it would be adding characters from the show to its theme parks. So Bluey’s future is looking brand and the wholesome show fits perfectly with the LEGO product range. This is merely a rumour but an exciting one for fans of the show and new LEGO themes. It’s not the only rumour to appear today, there are suggestions that 2025 will also see a theme inspired by the Netflix series, One Piece.
