72043: Interactive LEGO Mario & Standard Kart Review
One of the core play features of the entire LEGO Super Mario theme is the interactive figures. When the theme launched in 2020, the Adventures with Mario set included the first interactive figure. Mario was later joined by Luigi and Princess Peach, who also appeared in their own Starter Course sets. Last year, all three interactive figures were repackaged in new Starter Courses, which included an interactive figure and various bits...
77006: Team Sonic Command Truck Set Review
When Sonic and his friends aren’t speeding around taking on Dr Robotnik and his Flickies-powered forces, they like to chill out in their feature-filled motorhome. However, Sonic’s Motorhome doesn’t sound like an inspiring name for a set, so it’s given the flashier moniker of ‘Team Sonic Command Truck’. Unlike most of the other Sonic-themed LEGO sets, the Command Truck is a new creation not directly inspired by any...
75638: Battle At Arlong Park Set Review
As well as being wanted by the Marines, Luffy and his reluctant crew are also on the radar of the Fish-Men. The sea-loving amphibious folk already have a bone to pick with the humans, but Luffy’s insistence on sticking up for those in need puts him directly in the path of the feared Fish-Men leader, Arlong. The Straw Hat Pirates soon find themselves at Nami’s home, Coco Village, which has been destroyed by Arlong. So Luffy and co head...
76317: Peter Parker’s Apartment Set Review
Several new LEGO® Marvel sets have been released today, and among them are a few inspired by the world of Spider-Man. Unlike many of the Marvel sets, this one is merely inspired by the Marvel universe, rather than being based on a specific part of it, such as the MCU. It also includes a few decent minifigures, including the return of the Hobgoblin and Anti-Venom’s second outing for 2025. Here’s a look at the mini modular...
77078: Mecha Team Leader Set Review
You’d be forgiven for thinking that Fortnite is merely a colourful shooter, in which the entire cast of the MCU can dance with humanoid food and other wacky characters. But it actually has a story, which is often the focus of huge in-game events. During Fortnite’s ninth Season, a monster called The Devourer emerges from the island and starts chomping down iconic locations. To ward off this new evil, a huge mech called...
75639: The Going Merry Pirate Ship Set Review
Any self-respecting pirate crew needs a worthy vessel to sail the seas in search of adventure. For Luffy’s reluctant crew, that is the Going Merry. The Straw Hat Pirates are gifted their ship by Kaya after they defeat the Black Cat Pirates. As soon as Luffy sets eyes on the ship in the Syrup Village Shipyards, he knows he will one day sail in it. Once Luffy is joined by Nami, Zoro, Usopp and Sanji, the Going Merry becomes as...
75637: Buggy the Clown’s Circus Tent Set Review
With Luffy’s ‘crew’ reluctantly formed, it’s not long before they are captured by a group of pirates who fly under Buggy the Clown’s flag. They are taken to Buggy’s circus tent, where they are subjected to circus-themed torture. It doesn’t sound the most wholesome inspiration for a LEGO® set, but it’s actually a rather fun-filled build, with plenty of neat little details, four great minifigures and two Wanted posters. Roll...
