40423: Halloween Hayride Set Review
Long before the introduction of LEGO® BrickHeadz, seasonal holidays were often celebrated with buildable characters or mini playsets. This year we have the both of both worlds with a spooky new BrickHeadz set and a mini scene. Halloween has become big business here in the UK, but much of the traditions connected to the spookiest day of the year comes from the US. Which has inspired the Halloween Hayride set. But does this little...
LEGO ART Sets Review Round-up
Back in August, LEGO® introduced a brand new theme called LEGO ART. As the name suggests, it’s an artistic build experience which is also part of the 18+ product line. I’ve now built all four sets and reviewed each one, which you can check out by following the links below. I hope the product line expands with additional sets as the potential to encapsulate current licensed themes as well as introduce new ones, is endless....
31200: Star Wars The Sith LEGO ART Review
With a partnership spanning over 20 years, it was inevitable that Star Wars would inspire one of the new LEGO® ART sets. But with so many iconic characters to recreate as buildable art, it would be the Darkside which prevailed. Three generations of movies have each had their own big bad. So let’s take a closer look at this fun little Halloween-themed seasonal set. Product...
75290: LEGO Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina Review
Despite being an iconic location from the Star Wars universe, the Cantina found on the Tatooine hasn’t really been done justice in LEGO® form. The nearest we’ve got to capture the full force of the Cantina’s scum and villainy is the 2014 version but that’s about to change with the latest addition to the LEGO Star Wars range. The Master Builder Series Mos Eisley doesn’t do things by halves. For the first...
LEGO Brick Shelf Homeware Review
Earlier this year ROOM Copenhagen revealed some new additions to their ever-growing LEGO® branded homeware range. The latest items released are known as Brick Shelves, oversized LEGO bricks which also double as enclosed shelves. As with many of their products, these offer a unique looking way to jazz up your home and express your love of LEGO. Let’s take a closer look at the 2×4 stud Brick Shelf in this mini-review. Product...
LEGO Shark Suit Guy Minifigure Plush Toy Review
Earlier this month I reported on the news that many of the new LEGO® Plush Toys are now readily available from Amazon UK. The Minifigure plush toys are based on various Minifigure characters including those from the collectable Minifigure series, NINJAGO and more. Over in the US, the range also includes Star Wars characters, which may make it to other markets in 2021. The company behind these officially branded soft toys have very...
