75306: Imperial Probe Droid LEGO Set Review
For many The Empire Strikes Back is the pinnacle of Star Wars movies. It’s also the first appearance of a menacing Imperial Droid which helped Vader and the Imperial Fleet to locate the hidden Rebel Base on the sixth moon of the Hoth system. As Han and Chewie investigate a recent meteor strike on the snowy plains of Hoth, we come face to face with the Imperial Probe Droid. Now, this tool of the Imperial Forces has been recreated...
42124: Technic Off-Road Buggy Set Review
I recently shared a survey from the LEGO® Technic Design Team and of course, I filled it in myself. One of the questions was focused on the new Control+ powered system. This got me thinking, I’ve not actually had any experience of this generation of powered LEGO play. I’ve dabbled with Power Functions and it’s System-based replacement dubbed Powered UP. Control+ is the Technic equivalent and has been used in a couple...
LEGO Monkie Kid Reviews Round-up
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been building and reviewing the latest LEGO® Monkie Kid sets. Based on the second season of the TV, the latest range of sets includes some impressive builds. The highlights have to be the Legendary Flower Fruit Mountain, the Spider Queen’s spider-like base and the cool-looking White Dragon Horse jet. The sets also provide excellent value for money. Although based on a well-known legendary...

Set in the fantasy world of Kumandra, humans and dragons once lived together in harmony before monsters threatened the land. Until the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years on the threat returns and Raya must track down the last...
80023: Monkie Kid’s Team Dronecopter Set Review
The second largest of the new LEGO® Monkie Kid sets just so happens to be the first of them to be revealed late last year. Since then the set has been given a name change, but still remains an interesting addition to Monkie Kid’s line-up of vehicular weaponry. Although it’s not really a helicopter or a drone, it is a feature-packed build, which also includes the largest number of characters of any Monkie Kid set. The...

To coincide with the launch of LEGO® VIDIYO, LEGO VIP members were invited to apply for a special LEGO VIDIYO Backstage Pass Pack. Those lucky enough to get one should be receiving them anytime now. Mine arrived this week and I thought it would be interesting to share what it contains. Now the VIDIYO VIP Backstage Pass was totally free, you didn’t need to part with any VIP points or buy any products to get it. Considering...
40450: Amelia Earhart Tribute Set Review
With the current Amelia Earhart Tribute GWP promotion extended until tomorrow, I’ve decided to give the set a quick review. As the name suggests, the set is inspired by the explorer Amelia Earhart. She was an iconic aviator, who flew solo across the Atlantic before later trying to circumnavigate the world. A journey which would be her last as she when she went missing during her journey. The brick-built tribute to Earhart...
