Way back in 2024, DreamWorks and Universal Pictures announced the return of Shrek in an all-new, fifth animated movie. This was due to be released this year, but will now arrive in Summer 2027. Alongside the film, it’s expected that we’ll also see more LEGO® Shrek sets joining the recently released Shrek-themed BrickHeadz pack and the Shrek, Donkey and Puss-in-Boots model, which celebrates the film series 25th anniversary. If a future set doesn’t include ‘caked up like a freaking bakery’ Gingy, I’ll be upset.
